Local Buffalo Artists Cover Up Stefon Diggs Mural With The Most Famous Winter Jacket In Bills History

The Buffalo Bills essentially replaced Stefon Diggs with Keon Coleman at wide receiver. Meanwhile, a group of local artists did the exact same thing with one of their murals that became outdated.

They adapted to the new era of Bills football and did a brilliant job of replacing the old with the new.

A popular mural was painted on the side of Moore Room at the corner of Hertel and Wellington. It proudly featured quarterback Josh Allen and Diggs. The latter was wearing his No. 14 jersey in the image.

Not anymore!

With Diggs gone, ZoomBuffalo decided to update the mural instead of covering it up or cleaning it off. He used a brilliant callback to Coleman’s first press conference in Buffalo.

Keon Coleman, who has quickly become a fan favorite, proudly boasted his shopping strategy while debuting his winter coach from Macy’s. His mom taught him how to shop two seasons ahead, to get the best prices.

Rather than erasing Diggs from the mural to replace him with Coleman, the mural artists covered his jersey. They painted over No. 14 with the now-famous yellow coat.

The final result looks awesome. If you did not know that Diggs was up there before, you would never know!

Here is a behind-the-scenes look at the process:

This could not be more brilliant. It is the perfect way to welcome the team’s new pass-catcher while getting rid of Diggs without starting from scratch.

And the Macy’s jacket is way more unique than a jersey anyway. The legend has begun! I am curious to see how many members of Bills Mafia show up to a game with a yellow puffer jacket come next winter.

Coleman’s personality has quickly captivated the city and they are embracing him — and his shopping skills — with open arms!
