Buford has one of the best high school football stadiums in the entire country. Rather, the Georgia-based high school has one of the best football stadiums in the entire country — on any level.
It cost a cool $62 million to build. No big deal!
Buford, located approximately 40 miles northeast of Atlanta, consistently ranks as one of the top-25 high school football programs in the United States. The Wolves most recently finished at 12-2 as the third-ranked team in the Peach State. Although it was a great season, they were actually disappointed by the two losses.
The expectation for success is extremely high. Buford does not mess around when it comes to football. It has a separate field for the Junior Varsity program and six different practice fields. SIX!
This latest addition to the school is located right across the street. Construction started around the end of September. The project took approximately eight months to complete.
The new build is insane. Most non-FBS college football teams do not have this level of facility. It is complete with a full press box, multiple luxury suites with 180-degree views, a massive concourse with a trophy case, and all of the bells and whistles. Here is how it looked during the early construction:
Not only is the stadium itself on another level, no high school football program in the United States has a bigger videoboard than Buford. And it’s a two-way screen!

The Wolves very recently completed the outside of their new stadium, including the brand-new turf field. It does not look like a high school. More like a small, private D-I school with a massive financial backing. Most FCS programs are not playing at a stadium this nice.

The interior of Buford’s new facility is not yet finished but it will be ready for the fall. The season begins in late August. Stay tuned to BroBible for the latest updates. I cannot wait to get (a look) inside!
