Caitlin Clark Comes Oh-So-Close To First Hole In One

When you watch Indiana Fever star and basketball sensation Caitlin Clark play, it’s pretty clear that she would be good at any sport involving hand-eye coordinator. The NCAA’s all-time leading scorer has remarkable dexterity and coordination at a level that is close to being one-of-a-kind.

Clark, who also played soccer at Dowling Catholic in Iowa, has played golf for much of her life, as well. Unsurprisingly, she’s really good, and on Monday she nearly jarred one for a hole in one.

Clark is enjoying a much-deserved and much-needed break after pretty much a year straight of playing between the college season and WNBA season. She’s taken women’s basketball to new heights and will be the face of the sport for years to come.

She’s making waves on the golf course. Take a look at this.

While the shot ended up a good 4 or 5 feet from the hole, you can see the ball mark was about 18 inches from the cup. That’s heck of a shot from Caitlin Clark.

Great shots are kind of her thing. Already considered by most to be the greatest shooter in women’s basketball history, she averaged just over 19 points per game in her rookie year while knocking in three three-pointers a game.

I’m sure that we will see Clark in a ton of Pro-Ams during her career, as she’s no doubt a household name people would tune in to watch. She will tee it up with legend Annika Sorenstam at Annika’s eponymous eponymous event next month for a Pro-Am prior to the LPGA event at Pelican Golf Club in Florida.
