Caitlin Clark is once again speaking out against racism among WNBA fans.
At the end of the WNBA season, several players came forward to speak about some of the troubling behavior coming from WNBA fans during the league’s breakout season.
On Thursday, Brittney Griner spoke passionately about dealing with racism from “new fans.”
“I don’t appreciate the new fans that sit there and yell racial slurs at myself, my teammates, and the people that I play against because, yeah, those my best opponents but those are friends too.”

After having a fan ejected earlier this week, Clark was asked her thoughts on unruly fans this season.
“Nobody in our league should be facing any sort of racism, hurtful, disrespectful, hateful comments and threats. Those aren’t fans. Those are trolls. …”
I asked #IndianaFever star Caitlin Clark about the racism and other hate #WNBA players have endured this season:

This isn’t the first time Clark has denounced racist trolls this season, and it won’t likely be the last time she will have to speak out against them.
