Sheryl Swoopes is currently under fire by Caitlin Clark fans.
Last week, Swoopes got into a beef with ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith after he called her insane for speaking about the Indiana Fever’s improved play without acknowledging Clark.
“No Caitlin Clark?” Smith said. “Respectfully, Sheryl Swoopes, do you have any idea how that makes you look?
“You have any idea how that serves to stain any kind of critique of Caitlin Clark, because that gives fodder to those who believe she’s being hated on and ostracized to some degree?
“Do you realize that, Sheryl Swoopes, you’re insane to do that?”

On Monday, Swoopes was in the broadcast booth for the Aces-Wings game and went silent while her partner began speaking about Clark winning player of the week.

After Clark fans called for her firing, Swoopes fired back on social media on Tuesday.
