Caitlin Clark was in full form during the Indiana Fever’s game against the Seattle Storm on Sunday night. Not only did she drop 23 points and nine assists with five rebounds, the best rookie in the WNBA was as animated as we have seen her since being drafted!

The No. 1 overall pick looks rejuvenated after the Olympic break, which is bad news for the rest of the league.

Clark got off to a rough start during her first year. Indiana was still trying to find an identity. Diana Taurasi was right that there would be a little bit of an adjustment period after she dominated at Iowa.

That pendulum completely swung in the other direction over the last 15 games or so. The Fever are on fire and their point guard is the primary catalyst.

Clark is really starting to blossom into a superstar if she isn’t there already. And while the play continues to get better, she continues to get more comfortable in her own skin.

Caitlin Clark is talking her talk!

An official issued a questionable technical foul during Sunday’s win over Seattle and she was not pleased. Clark spoke out against the call during her postgame press conference after a very chippy end to the game.

Storm head coach Noelle Quinn had words for Fever head coach Christie Sides as the clock ticked down to zero.

The latter was either upset with the former for emptying the bench during a blowout, with her team’s behavior, or both. Just moments prior, Caitlin Clark walked right in front of the opposing bench and pumped up the crowd in a boisterous manner. It was electrifying for the home fans. Skylar Diggins-Smith took issue with the antics and went out of her way to give Clark a hip check.

Quinn was also furious with shenanigans, and the bench clearing, and the ugly loss. Clark didn’t care. The scoreboard video caught her mocking Seattle for whining.

You can see her say:

“Shhhhhh”

“Why you so worried about me?”

“Stop crying!”

And then she cracks up while Katie Lou Samuelson tries to get her to chill out, much like Kate Martin did at Iowa! It was a very familiar moment.

Caitlin Clark is everything we could’ve hoped. The WNBA is obviously terrified of Indiana in its current form and can’t handle the heat. It is so good for the league!
