Here’s an honor that not many people get to achieve: WNBA star Caitlin Clark will have her image on the hood of Josh Berry’s Stewart-Haas Racing car for the upcoming NASCAR Brickyard 400.

Clark will be on the car as part of her deal with collectibles company Panini America, the official trading card partner of NASCAR.

Earlier this month, Caitlin Clark became the first and only female athlete to have her own trading card set when Panini America released the 15-card Highlights set featuring the most iconic moments of Clark’s career thus far.

The image that Panini America chose to put on the NASCAR Cup Series Rookie of the Year points leader’s car on July 21 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway is from that set of trading cards, the “Reigning 3’s” insert.

“Every race car driver wants to compete at Indy. It’s hallowed ground that all of us treat with a tremendous amount of respect,” Josh Berry said. “To be there with Panini and promote its new Caitlin Clark Collection just adds to the prestige of racing in the Brickyard 400. Indy is a great sports town and it’s an honor to have Caitlin Clark as a part of our effort.”

Panini America and Stewart-Haas Racing released a time lapse video of one of the #4 cars getting its Caitlin Clark facelift, so to speak.

Caitlin Clark will be competing in the WNBA All-Star Game in Phoenix the day before the Brickyard 400 against a team of WNBA players selected to compete in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Clark has certainly earned that honor as Hall of Fame basketball player Rebecca Lobo noted on X (Twitter) on Tuesday, “Caitlin Clark has scored or assisted on 849 of the @IndianaFever’s 2,033 points this season (41.8%). It is the most points and highest % of team points by any player this season. Indy has also played the most difficult strength of schedule.”

Clark is averaging 16.8 points, 7.8 assists, 5.8 rebounds and 1.5 steals through the first 25 games of her rookie season in the WNBA.
