Caitlin Clark is raking it from sponsorships.
Last year, Clark signed a massive 8-year $28 million endorsement deal with Nike to develop a signature sneaker line.
Nike execs were thrilled with signing Clark.
“At Nike, we’ve always drawn inspiration not only from the world’s greatest athletes but also from those who elevate the spirit of sport itself. Caitlin exemplifies both — an exceptional basketball player and an outstanding ambassador for the game,” Ann Miller, Nike executive vice president of global sports marketing, said in a statement.
Apparently, Nike isn’t the only brand excited to work with Clark.
According to a report from Sportico, Clark has made over $16 million in sponsorships, which is over 10x more than her WNBA salary.

$16 million from sponsors and $114,000 from her W playing salary and bonuses. In percentage terms, it’s 99.3% from endorsements and 0.7% from the WNBA.
Clark’s existing sponsors included Gatorade, State Farm, Wilson, Panini America, Hy-Vee, Xfinity, Gainbridge and Lilly. In August, Nike announced Clark as its latest signature athlete, with a new signature logo, a collection of sportswear and apparel, and a signature sneaker to debut in 2026. She was the only WNBA player to crack the top 15 earners, with New York Liberty point guard Sabrina Ionescu falling just short.
It is worth noting that Clark isn’t the top earner in women’s sports.
Tennis star Coco Gauff and freestyle skier Eileen Gu currently make $23 million off endorsements.
It seems like it’s only a matter of time until Clark becomes the top-paid female athlete in sports.
