Caitlin Clark is still facing criticism from fellow WNBA players while trying to help them get paid more money.
Earlier this week, Clark spoke about the importance of WNBA players getting paid more money during upcoming CBA negotiations.
“We should be paid more, and hopefully that’s the case moving forward, as the league continues to grow,” Clark told the media. “That’s something that’s probably the most important thing that we’re in the room advocating about.”
On Saturday night before the WNBA All-Star game, Clark was seen wearing a “pay us what you owe us” shirt alongside other WNBA All-Stars.

After the game, WNBA star Kelsey Plum decided to randomly take a shot at Clark for wearing the shirt.
“It was a very powerful moment. As players, we didn’t know that that was going to happen. It was a genuine surprise. The t-shirt was determined this morning. Not to tattletale: 0 members of Team Clark were very present for that”

Fans were confused by Plum’s comments directed at Clark.
Taking a shot like this at the player that’s the only reason you’re in a position to ask for more money is crazy lmao https://t.co/ld9lrr7NBA
