Chicago Bears quarterback Caleb Williams went through a rollercoaster of emotions on Sunday night, as he went from the highs of almost leading his team to the NFC title game with a miracle TD pass, to the lows of blowing the game with an interception in overtime.

With just 18 seconds left in their NFC Divisional Round matchup against the Los Angeles Rams, Chicago Bears second-year QB Caleb Williams hit tight end Cole Kmet with a 14-yard-touchdown pass — which had an air distance of 55.1 yards given how war Williams dropped back and where Kmet was in the endzone — to force overtime.

The pass was a remarkable athletic feat and clutch moment, leading many NFL fans to call it one of the greatest throws in NFL history.

Despite the magical touchdown pass to Kmet, Williams’ performance ultimately hindered the Bears in crunch time, as he was 10 for 23 with a touchdown and two interceptions in the second half and overtime. His last pick also came when the Bears had the chance to win the game with a field goal. Instead, the Rams did exactly that.

“Caleb Williams face finna look sour like that all spring and summer,” one NFL fan tweeted.

“Always enjoyed seeing sad Caleb Williams face when he was at USC, still great now,” said another.

“There isn’t much I love more than seeing Caleb Williams’ face after a loss,” added a third.

With their win over the Bears in Chicago, the Rams will travel to Seattle to take on the Seahawks in the NFC Championship game next weekend for the third matchup of the season between the two NFC West foes.
