The best caddies are typically great golfers and that’s apparently a two-way street as LIV Golf’s Cam Smith threw on the caddy bib for a recent round while deleting a ton of beers on the course and he killed it out there.
Interestingly, Cam Smith seemed totally dialed in on the putts from around 5-15 feet which have often been the putts that plague him the most on the course over the past two seasons. I think we caught a quick glimpse of ‘do as I say, not as I do’ here with his putting advice because the team he was caddying for crushed it.
Cam Smith the caddy 👀🙌
Green reading a particular strength – also likes making fun of his ‘player’ 🤣#RipperGC #LIVGolf pic.twitter.com/KHchgGDLE6

The next LIV Golf event is at Bolingbrook Golf Club in Chicago and it’s the one for all of the (individual) marbles, the LIV Golf Individual Champion event. Without even seeing Cam Smith swing a club in this video I can tell he’s dialed in. The dude is deleting beers with ease. Doesn’t have a care in the world. If there’s any reason to give pause, it’s that the fishing in Chicago isn’t ideal for Cam Smith’s liking.
Cam Smith’s Rippers GC finished the 2024 LIV Golf season in 3rd with two wins, back-to-back wins, starting in his native Australia (though he lives in Florida these days). Cam himself finished 6th on the season without notching a single win but he did have three 2nd place finishes and 7 top-10 finishes. So he’s definitely someone to watch for the LIV Golf Individual Championship finals.
