Los Angeles Sparks star Cameron Brink recently opened up about walking around in her birthday suit while shooting her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition spread. Brink, 23 years old, made her Sports Illustrated Swimsuit debut in the 2025 edition earlier this year.
On a recent episode of her Straight To Cam podcast, Cameron Brink — speaking to her mother Michelle and Los Angeles Sparks teammate Dearica Hamby — recalled walking around the set of the shoot in Boca Raton, Florida.
“Yeah, I was walking around naked. There was only gays and girls in the room, I think, so,” Brink said on her Straight to Cam podcast. “It wasn’t an issue. But, yeah, I feel like when they have a vision, I like the artistry of it all. I like shooting stuff like that. It’s fun,” she added, comparing it to being undressed in front of teammates in the locker room.
After suffering a torn ACL during her rookie season — just a little over a year ago — Brink has yet to make her return to the WNBA court. Los Angeles Sparks head coach Lynne Roberts said that the #2 pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft would be returning “soonish.” Prior to her injury, Brink began her WNBA career averaging a healthy 7.5 points, 5.3 rebounds and 1.7 assists per game.
The Los Angeles Sparks can certainly use Brink and all the help they can get as the team currently sits at 5-12 despite trading for three-time All-Star Kelsey Plum during the offseason.
