Former Hollywood superstar Cameron Diaz is literally back in action with his first film in 10 years, Back In Action, set to release on Netflix on January 17, 2024. It marks a long-awaited return to the silver screen for a woman who was once one of the biggest celebrities in the world, and the trailer, which was released Thursday morning, is surprisingly good!

Diaz stars alongside Jamie Foxx in the action comedy that features the duo as a married couple who were former CIA spies. However, they’re pulled back into action after their secret identities are revealed.

Diaz and Foxx lead an absolutely star-studded cast that also features Kyle Chandler, Andrew Scott and Glenn Close. It also marks one of Foxx’s first major movies since a health scare that threatened his life.

“I cherish every single minute now. It’s different. You know? It’s different. It’s beyond — I wouldn’t wish what went through on my worst enemy because it’s tough when it’s almost over, when you see the tunnel,” Foxx said of the incident.

“I saw the tunnel, I didn’t see the light!” he said jokingly. “It was hot in that tunnel! I didn’t know what I was doing. S—, am I going to the right place? I see the devil going ‘c’mon.'”

Diaz, meanwhile, Rose to fame in 1994 when she co-starred alongside Jim Carrey in The Mask. For over a decade, she made waves as one of Hollywood’s biggest names. But in 2014, she took a hiatus that lasted nearly 10 years. She spoke last month about what went into that decision.

“For me, it was just something I had to do,” she said at Fortune‘s Most Powerful Women Summit. “It felt like something I had to do to reclaim my own life. And I just really didn’t care about anything else. I didn’t. Nobody’s opinion, nobody’s success, no one’s offer, no one’s anything could change my mind about my decision of taking care of myself and building the life that I really wanted to have. So, I think it really comes to: What are you passionate about? For me, it was to build my family.”

Now, both she and Foxx are back, and it appears they may well have combined for one of 2025’s must-see movies.
