Canadian pop star Tate McRae has had an interesting Winter Olympics.
Before the Olympics, McRae angered Canadians when she appeared in an ad promoting Team USA.
“I’m trying to get to Milan for an amazing opening ceremony and meet Team USA,” McRae said in the ad. “Then it’s the weekend with America’s best skating for gold, and Lindsey Vonn’s epic comeback. Then come back to the States for the big game, Super Bowl LX.”

McRae would later assure everyone that she was “Canadian down.”
On Sunday, McRae’s rumored boyfriend, Jack Hughes, scored the game-winning goal for Team USA in Canada’s loss in the gold medal hockey game at the Winter Olympics.

Canadian fans are now leaving angry messages on McRae’s Instagram page after Team Canada’s loss at the Olympics.
