Tony Todd, the actor who famously portrayed the “Candy Man” in the 90s horror franchise, has passed away at the age of 69.
According to Deadline, Todd passed away two days ago at his home, but no cause of death was given.

Tony Todd, an actor who played the killer in Candyman and its 2021 sequel and appeared in Platoon and The Crow among more than 240 film and TV credits spanning 40 years, died November 6 at his home in Los Angeles. He was 69.
His reps confirmed the news to Deadline but did not provide a cause of death.
Todd’s final acting role will be in the upcoming Final Destination: Bloodlines where he will reprise his role as William Bludworth in the franchise.
