Canelo Alvarez wants to get paid big money to fight David Benavidez.
For the past few years, Benavidez has called out Canelo at 168 pounds but never got a title shot against the boxing superstar.
Benavidez eventually quit chasing after Canelo and moved up to 175 pounds.
“Why is it the next best thing to move up?”

During a recent interview with Sway, Canelo said that he would only fight Benavidez for $200 million because Benavidez poses a huge risk to him.
“Obviously he’s a risk, he’s a great fighter. Plus he brings to the ring on fight night 25lbs more than me. It’s a risk but I don’t care. If the money’s right it can be tomorrow.” [

It doesn’t appear that the Saudis are interested in giving into Canelo’s demands and have recently pulled an offer made to the Mexican boxer to fight Terence Crawford.
