An eighth grade quarterback named Linc Frazier has already received a scholarship offer from Arizona State University thanks to former Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim and his new NIL branding and evaluation company.

Frazier made the announcement this week on X (Twitter) in a post in which he tagged NFL insider Adam Schefter.

Schefter then proceeded to write his own post on X, including a picture of Linc Frazier with his arm around a smiling and bug-eyed Steve Keim.

“Former Arizona Cardinals GM Steve Keim has launched a company called BrandBossLLC, which specializes in talent evaluation and recruiting services,” Schefter wrote. “Today, the company helped secure a scholarship offer from Arizona State for eighth-grade QB Linc Frazier, the son of former Eagles third-round pick Derrick Frazier. @lincdalion, who is 6-foot-3 and 180 pounds, is from Chandler, AZ, and he now becomes the youngest player ever to receive a scholarship offer from the Sun Devils.”

According to QB Hit List, “Linc has excellent size for a 2029 Dual Threat QB at 6’1” 175 lbs. He stands out from the other players on the field because of his size. A tall presence in the backfield, able to survey the field with very good vision. A tough running QB who takes on would-be tacklers.”

Linc’s dad Derrick Frazier, a cornerback, played for the Eagles from 1993 to 1995, then the Dallas Cowboys for a year, and two more years with the Indianapolis Colts. He also played college football at Texas A&M.

Steve Keim resigned from his job as general manager of the Arizona Cardinals in 2022 after signing a contract extension earlier in the year that ran through the 2027 season, citing health reasons. He was suspended by the organization in 2022 after he was arrested for driving under the influence after reportedly having a 0.19% blood-alcohol level.

His new company, BrandBoss, LLC, was reportedly only founded less than a month ago. Now he’s got a kid from York Middle School in Texas who won’t graduate high school until 2029 as one of his clients. What a world!
