The first two weeks of the NFL season have been eventful at the quarterback position. Already we’ve seen two established starters in Tua Tagovailoa and Jordan Love got down with injuries and a quarterback benched in Bryce Young.

Tua Tagovailoa’s concussion that could cost him the season and possibly his career has really thrown a wrench in the Miami Dolphins season. Meanwhile, the Rams are 0-2 and decimated by injuries, and their season may already be hanging by the brink.

Former NFL journeyman quarterback and current NFL Network personality Chase Daniel thinks he has a solution for the Rams, Dolphins and Panthers.

I understand what Chase Daniel is trying to do here. It could be time for a rebuild for the Rams. The Dolphins are built to win now and need a quarterback. The Panthers would like to get anything they can for Bryce Young, as it’s not going to work out for him there.

The Panthers would absolutely do this. At 23-years-old, it’s too early for the entire league to give up on a pretty talented player that just went first-overall 17 months ago. But, it’s not going to work out for Young in Carolina, and the franchise would like to get whatever they can for him. a 2nd and 3rd rounder would be seen as a gift for Bryce Young.

And, the Dolphins would likely want to do it as well. Tua Tagovailoa may be out for the season, and possibly for his career, after suffering another concussion. The Dolphins roster is pretty good, and Matthew Stafford would be an upgrade over Tagovailoa. With him, the Dolphins would be contenders in the AFC.

But, there is no way the Rams would do this. Yes, this season looks to be slipping away from them. But, there’s no reason they can’t get healthy and compete again next year with a solid core. And, frankly, Bryce Young has been the worst quarterback in the league this year. That can change, and probably would change under Sean McVay. But, there’s no way a team is giving up a quarterback like Matthew Stafford and a third-rounder for a player that is pretty broken at this point.

Sorry Chase Daniel, but this one isn’t happening.
