It’s been discussed throughout the season that the Chicago Bears may not play in Soldier Field anymore.

With multiple options on the table to move the team just outside the city, it sounds like Chicago is making a legitimate effort to keep the Bears in their current location.

In a video shared on Vimeo, the city of Chicago creates a “Reimagine of Soldier Field.” The current stadium has received plenty of flack, as it’s recognized as one of the worst in the NFL. However, this reimagining could really change things for the Bears’ home games. Watch the nearly six-minute clip below.

I’m not even a Bears fan and I’m pumped up for this idea. It looks absolutely amazing. If Chicago played in a stadium like this, they’d easily have one of the coolest stadiums in the league. Worst from first in a heartbeat.

Even so, nothing is official just yet. Right now, it’s rumored the Bears are planning to build a giant “multi-purpose entertainment district in Arlington Park,” per the team’s official website. This possible new stadium in Arlington Park, which is a suburban area of the city of Chicago, looks awesome as well.

Chicago is doing everything it can to keep the Bears’ home stadium in the downtown area. We’ll see how it plays out though. There are likely several steps ahead before ownership makes a final decision.

At the very least, the city of Chicago has a cool idea in place that could intrigue the ownership group.
