Former Washington Redskins Tight End Chris Cooley went on First Take to defend the Redskins name. Cooley has been outspoken about the issue plenty of times. Cooley’s main defense of the name was that he went and talked to several hundreds of Native Americans and didn’t find any Native Americans that were offended, he even went on to say that he supports the name because it honors what they represent.
