Video Shows Jets QB Christian Hackenberg Hitting Another Reporter With Errant Pass In Practice

If you’re a reporter covering the Jets during OTA’s you might have to keep your head on a swivel because at any moment you can get drilled by an errant pass by Jets QB Christian Hackenberg. Last week, the former Penn State standout reportedly hit two reporters in three practice sessions.

When Hackenberg misses… he really misses. He threw just two interceptions in team drills, but nearly tossed six others. And I’m not talking about a receiver falling down. I’m saying the defender just dropped the ball.

Other times, the wideout/running back/tight end was wide open, and Hackenberg sailed it over his head or bounced it to him. That can’t happen. In the three media-open OTAs, Hackenberg hit reporters with passes twice.

During today’s practice, Hackenberg failed to connect on a pass attempt and once again he hit another reporter.

It is worth noting that the wide receiver really didn’t give much effort in trying to catch the ball on the play but it’s still funny how Hackenberg has a knack for drilling sideline reporters in practice.
