Cincinnati quarterback Gunner Kiel laid motionless on the field after taking a scary hit to the head from Tigers DB Chauncey Lanier. Lanier was not ejected for the hit as officials decided it was not considered targeting.

Kiel left the game on a stretcher and while he was conscious, there’s no word on the severity of his injury.
Update: According to the Cincinnati Bearcats Twitter account, Kiel is awake and moving all four limbs.
