Philadelphia Eagles cornerbackk CJ Gardner-Johnson took a personal shot at Travis Kelce after the Eagles beat the Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX. Gardner-Johnson took a shot at Kelce’s girlfriend Taylor Swift.
After Super Bowl LIX — which saw the NFC champion Eagles dominate the two-time defending Super Bowl champions by a score of 40-22 — Gardner-Johnson took to Instagram to troll Travis Kelce.
Gardner-Johnson not only took a shot at Kelce but he made it personal as he focused on his relationship, saying that Kelce should have “stay with that thick s—” [his ex-girlfriend Kayla Nicole, who also trolled him after the game] instead of current pop star girlfriend Taylor Swift (who ironically went viral for how ripped her legs looked at the Grammy Awards earlier this month).

In the loss the Eagles, Kelce — who signed a two-year contract extension with the Chiefs that will keep him with the team through 2027 prior to the season — had just four catches for 39 yards. The Eagles defense dominated the entire Chiefs offense, as they didn’t score their first points until the closing moments of the third quarter.
Heading into next season, Gardner-Johnson’s Eagles have opened as favorites to repeat as title winners, as they have opened with odds of about +650 to win Super Bowl LX in 2026.
The sport books currently see the Baltimore Ravens as the biggest threat to the Eagles’ repeating, giving Lamar Jackson’s crew odds of +700). The Buffalo Bills (+750), Kansas City Chiefs (+750), and Detroit Lions (+850) then round out the top five.
