The FIFA Club World Cup Kicks Off This Weekend In Miami, Florida, Features $1 Billion Prize Pool

The FIFA Club World Cup kicks off this week, featuring 32 clubs from the world’s best soccer leagues.

The tournament will consist of 63 games played across 11 cities in the U.S., which includes this weekend’s opening game at 8 p.m. ET on Saturday between Inter Miami and Al Ahly at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami, Florida.

The final is scheduled to be played at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J., on July 13.

FIFA’s Club World Cup features a $1 billion prize pool, which will be distributed among participating teams, with the winner set to receive up to $125 million.

Teams will earn $2 million for a win and $1 million for a draw in the group stage, $7.5 million for qualifying to the round of 16, $13.1 million for a quarter-final appearance, $21 million for making it to the semi-final, $30 million for earning a birth to the Finals, and another $40 million for winning the whole tournament.

General public tickets for the tournament can be purchased at Ticketmaster, and club fan tickets can be bought on FIFA’s official website.

FIFA sponsor Marriott Bonvoy, in partnership with Visa, has released Marriott Bonvoy Moments, which allows Marriott Bonvoy Members with a Visa card to redeem points for special experiences throughout the tournament.

Marriott Bonvoy is also debuting its ultimate fan experience for the Final on July 13th, featuring an overnight stay in a special Westin-inspired suite inside MetLife Stadium, as well as 13 additional tickets to watch the final from the Skybox suite.
