Colby Covington is done with politics.
Earlier this month, Covington was shocked to learn that he was being left off the UFC’s White House card despite the fact that he’s one of President Trump’s favorite fighters.
Covington expressed his frustrations about being left off the White House card during an interview with Submission Radio.
“I said I’d fight anybody just to get the opportunity to fight in front of my hero, Donald Trump.”
“What the f-ck am I supposed to do to earn money? I have a lot of bills to pay.”
Ahead of his Real American Freestyle match against Dillon Danis on March 28th, Covington says he’s staying out of politics for the time being.

“You know, I love Trump, he’s a great guy, but I’m not really political. In the future, you won’t see me campaigning or actively involved in politics. I don’t want to be a part of it anymore. It’s a dirty game, and loyalty is never rewarded.”
“My dream before was to be the governor of Florida, a senator, a congressman. Nah — now I just want to do business with Real American Beer, RAF, and mind my own business in peace.”
Colby Covington says he’s NOT getting involved in politics anymore because it’s a “dirty game”:
“In the future you won’t see me actively involved in politics. I think it’s a dirty game, loyalty is never rewarded.”

It’s currently unclear when Covington will fight again in the UFC, having last fought in December of 2024, losing to Joaquin Buckley.
