Colin Kaepernick wants back in the NFL.

Kaepernick hasn’t played in the league since 2016 after accusing the NFL of blackballing due to his political activism on the field.

Despite having not played in nearly eight years, Kaepernick insists he still wants to play.

In a recent interview with Sky Sports, Kaepernick said he believes he can still help a team win a championship.

“We’re still training and still pushing, hopefully we just got to get one of these team owners to open up.”

“It’s something I’ve trained my whole life for, so to be able to step back on the field, I think that would be a major moment, a major accomplishment for me. I think I could bring a lot to a team and help them win a championship.”

Kaepernick last worked out for the Raiders in 2022 at owner Mark Davis’s insistence, but nothing ever came of it.

Last year, Kaepernick wrote a letter to Jets GM Joe Douglas asking for a tryout after Aaron Rodgers’ injury but was rebuffed.
