We’re less than two weeks away from the return of a licensed college football video game, as EA Sports’ College Football 25 is set to be officially released on July 19.

As we get closer and closer to the release of the game, I’m sure many of you are daydreaming about getting to use officially licensed college players for the first time in a video game. Here are eight players that everyone is excited to use.

Colorado WR/CB Travis Hunter

Yeah, I’m sure a lot of people are sick of the Colorado hype after they went 4-8 last year. That being said, we’re all excited to see how EA Sports integrates Travis Hunter into the game as a true two-way player that plays every snap of the game. His dynamic abilities on both sides of the ball will be game-changing. While we’re here, you’ll be throwing to him with Shedeur Sanders, another player people are excited to use.

Missouri WR Luther Burden

Unlike Hunter, Luther Burden only plays one side of the ball as a wide receiver. But, he does that job incredibly well. The former five-star recruit is silky smooth, and he will be giving virtual cornerbacks fits on College Football 25.

LSU LB Harold Perkins

Harold Perkins, alongside Penn State linebacker, Abdul Carter, is the most versatile defensive player in college football. Like Carter, he can play as both a box linebacker and as a great pass-rusher. Hardcore football gamers are going to love the chess match they can play with Harold Perkins moving around the field.

Ohio State RB’s TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins

Yes, this is technically two players, but this two-headed monster is going to be so fun to play with. Henderson was arguably the nation’s most explosive returning running back, and as soon as Judkins, a First Team All-SEC selection last year at Ole Miss transferred in, gamers were salivating with the ways they could use these two beasts.

Ohio State DB Caleb Downs

We’re sticking with the Buckeyes, as Alabama transfer Caleb Downs might be the most fun defensive player to play with in the game. Many high-level gamers love lurking with a safety on defense, and there will be no one better than one of the best true freshman football players we’ve seen in a long time last year in Tuscaloosa.

Arizona QB Noah Fifita

If you’re a diehard college football fan, you know all about how fun Noah Fifita is. He’s one of the best air raid quarterbacks in the entire country, and his diminutive size makes him even more fun to play with. Add in superstar wide receiver Tetairoa McMillan to throw to, and people are going to love playing with Noah Fifita

Alabama QB Jalen Milroe

Dual-threat quarterbacks have always been popular in college football video games, and Jalen Milroe may be the best dual-threat quarterback in the country this year.  He moves better than pretty much every running back in the country, and players will love designing a nasty spread offense around him.

Michigan DT Mason Graham

One of the best ways to stop a running game on a football video game is to get really good at controlling a defensive tackle to blow up inside run plays and force everything to the outside. There’s no one better at that than Mason Graham, and his raw strength and quick first step is going to so fun to use for people who prefer to user defensive linemen.
