Tensions are heightened after a college hockey brawl.
Not only did the first game of the series come down to the wire, a massive brawl broke out during the second period. There will be heightened tensions when these two teams get back on the ice.
The incident started with a shot on goal.
Bowling Green took issue with a Minnesota State skater who pestered the goalie inside the crease. He continuously poked at the puck, which did not go over well. The Falcons jumped on top of him. The Mavericks hurried to his defense.
It started as some pushing and shoving. It quickly devolved into bedlam. Punches were thrown. Multiple fistfights required the officials to intervene.
