In case there was any doubt, it is in fact personal between Colorado and Colorado State.

Their week 3 rivalry game at Folsom Field already figured to be a big deal thanks to Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes’ 2-0 start to the season.

That intensity got turned up to a 10 earlier this week when Rams coach Jay Norvell criticized Sanders’ etiquette.

Sanders then told his team that Norvell made the already heated rivalry “personal” by coming after his family.

In case there was any doubt about that fact, players from both sides proved it when they got involved in a fight on the field prior to the game even starting.

Several players from both sides were involved. While Colorado fans looked on and chanted “f— CSU.”

Yeah, we’d say it’s “personal.”

The Buffs and Rams kick off at 10 p.m. ET on ESPN. Colorado is listed as a 24-point favorite after opening at 23.5.
