Colorado State won’t punish the player who injured Colorado star Travis Hunter with a brutal hit.
On Saturday, CSU’s Henry Blackburn drilled Hunter with a late hit during a pass play.

Reports on Monday revealed that Hunter suffered a lacerated liver and would miss 3-4 weeks.
According to Matt L. Stephens. Jay Norvell has reviewed the tape on the play and didn’t think it was worthy of a suspension.
“I reviewed the play, it’s a play that happens sometimes,” Norvell said.”It was a bang-bang type of a play. That’s certainly not something that we teach”
It appears Colorado State has decided to not suspend Henry Blackburn for his hit on Travis Hunter. According to CSU coach Jay Norvell, he reviewed it and said “it’s a play that happens sometimes.”
