Colorado State won’t punish the player who injured Colorado star Travis Hunter with a brutal hit.

On Saturday, CSU’s Henry Blackburn drilled Hunter with a late hit during a pass play.

Reports on Monday revealed that Hunter suffered a lacerated liver and would miss 3-4 weeks.

According to Matt L. Stephens. Jay Norvell has reviewed the tape on the play and didn’t think it was worthy of a suspension.

“I reviewed the play, it’s a play that happens sometimes,” Norvell said.”It was a bang-bang type of a play. That’s certainly not something that we teach”

Norvell went on to reveal that Blackburn had been receiving death threats currently being investigated by authorities.
