As if it wasn’t bad enough for Colts running back Jonathan Taylor, losing a nail-biting loss to the Browns on Sunday, 39-38, the NFL gave him an unexpected “surprise” after the game.
The game itself marred by some questionable officiating that left many fans scratching their heads.
Taylor has been making a comeback the past few weeks back after returning from the Physically Unable to Perform list and sealing the deal with a shiny new contract extension.
Taylor’s journey back wasn’t a walk in the park; he’d been battling an ankle injury since last season, which also sidelined him at the start of the 2023 season.
Taylor finally seemed to have found his stride once again on Sunday, scoring his first touchdown since his injury and racking up a total of 120 yards. He pulled off 75 rushing yards and added 45 receiving yards from three catches.
TD for JT. His 1st score of the season!

But after the game, Taylor took to Twitter/X, sharing, “Drug tested soon as I get back in the end zone 😂.”

As if the Colts didn’t have enough on their plate dealing with a game many believe they were unjustly robbed of, the NFL decided to spice things up by “randomly” drug testing arguably their best player.
