Fans believe Conor McGregor looks like a new person after going on a spiritual journey. Earlier this month, McGregor made headlines due to his unhinged appearance while promoting the BKFC 82 card in New Jersey.

On Thursday, McGregor made an appearance at the BKFC Rome press conference and said he made some changes to his life after going on a spiritual journey.

“I am not here just by chance. There is a higher power, God, that dictates my journey,” McGregor said. “I live my life by God’s word, and since the last event, I have engaged in a spiritual journey. I’m saved. I’m healed. On the back of that, the world is in for a treat.”

“On the back of that, the world is in for a treat. My competitive spark that was once in my heart is now a roaring blaze. So I’m very excited – I envy these men up here. They are right about to make weight…and do what they were called to do. As am I called to do it. I am eager to get back and right now I had to dial myself in and go inward – and that I’ve done. I’m very excited to come back my own self.”

Fans on social media immediately noticed that McGregor looked healthier than a few weeks ago.

Here’s a before-and-after of Conor McGregor’s change in appearance in recent weeks.

McGregor has openly spoken about wanting to fight in next June’s UFC White House card, but UFC CEO Dana White has refused to commit to adding McGregor on the card.

If McGregor gets back in shape, maybe there’s hope he could fight again in the UFC.
