One of the greatest mixed martial artists of all time, Khabib Nurmagomedov, has reportedly found himself in a bit of hot water with the Russian government.

The 35-year-old undefeated fighter reportedly owes $3.3 million due to some “inconsistencies” in his tax records, the Russian government claims.

As a result, local media outlets MASH and REN TV report Russian authorities raided his gym in Dagestan and seized his bank accounts.

Now, MMA Weekly reports that Khabib Nurmagomedov has left Russia and opted to change nationality to become a UAE citizen.

All of these negative reports about his longtime nemesis Khabib Nurmagomedov appear to have brought Conor McGregor nothing but joy as he has been celebrating each of them on social media.

McGregor responded to one post on X (Twitter) about Nurmagomedov having his bank accounts seized with a crying laughing emoji and the comment, “broke and on the run if you see him tell him push ups for cash.”

The Irishman was referring to an old video which showed Khabib laughing at a homeless man doing push ups for cash.

In another post on X, The Notorious One wrote, “I heard he is now [in] a porta potty in Dubai.”

Last week, Conor McGregor also accused Nurmagomedov of being a terrorist.

“In the terrorist’s gym when a tester showed up they would hold him hostage and give a random clean person’s urine vs. the fighters they were looking to test,” he wrote in a since deleted post on X. “All will come out now. When this comes down on top of them watch what surfaces. There is a video of Khabib walking into a premise full of people and smashing it up entirely with a bat, threatening all those inside. All will come out. Mystic Mac.”

For what it’s worth, Nurmagomedov’s camp claims that the charges of tax evasion being reported are not true.

“The information about tax debt is inaccurate. Khabib continues to engage in business projects and develop them,” they said in a statement to the TASS news agency.

Nurmagomedov’s manager Ali Abdelaziz also posted on Instagram about his fighter, “If I go to war, this guy in this picture will be my general any day of the week; what he brings to the table is honesty, integrity, and loyalty. This man has changed so many lives and touched so many other lives for the good, my brother, the Eagle of Dagestan.”
