Conor McGregor’s team is responding to Chael Sonnen’s latest report.

On ESPN’s Good Guy/Bad Guy podcast, Sonnen revealed that McGregor was not hurt when he pulled out of his fight against Michael Chandler during International Fight Week.

“McGregor’s not hurt. I don’t know if we’re making TV here, how much we’re supposed to play along.”

“Conor McGregor is not injured, and it’s a very tough spot when he has the people that are coming out speaking for him that have been filled in, and they’ve all sworn to secrecy.”

Chael went on to imply that McGregor was in rehab for substance abuse.

“.. What incredible irony that both sides have these massive interests in alcohol, and one side(McGregor) is in the middle of rehab for substance abuse, including alcohol.”

“I’m just saying, that’s a tough story to tell. .. Have this proper drink. I’ll see you in a proper while because I’m in a proper facility right now.”

TMZ reached out to McGregor’s reps who deny the rehab allegations and claim McGregor injured himself d

Conor’s rep was quick to shut down Chael’s accusation though … adamantly denying he’s in rehab. “The fight was cancelled after an injury he sustained during training,” Karen Kessler told us. “He is looking forward to a new date.”
