Yesterday, in a trailer for the next episode of HBO’s Real Sports Craig Sager revealed hat his cancer doctors had informed him in February that he was no longer in remission from leukemia, the disease he has been battling since the Spring of 2014.
Today, Sports Illustrated’s Ben Golliver released a part of the transcript of the interview which airs tonight.

It’s unclear whether Sager will have to step away from reporting while getting treatment.
A Turner Sports spokesperson went on the record and told Yahoo BDL’s Dan Devine that Sager will continue his duties for the NBA on TNT broadcasts for the time being.
