After a solid performance by QB Dak Prescott last week, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones made the surprising statement that he was sticking with the rookie and was not going to look for a veteran QB in free agency.
Tonight, Dak put in another solid performance in his second preseason game against the Miami Dolphins and is making Jones look like a smart man.
It all started with this perfectly placed pass to Dez Bryant for a 29-yard touchdown.
Prescott later used his legs and scrambled for a 20 yard td a few minutes later.
In the third quarter Prescott completed this 58-yard bomb which led to another touchdown.
So far so good for the young rook.
