Michael Sam, the first openly gay player drafted by an NFL team, is now out of the NFL. The Dallas Cowboys cut the linebacker today from their practice squad.

Turnover is high among the NFL’s practice squads, so there’s a chance Sam catches back on with the Cowboys — or another team. Then again, there’s a chance he doesn’t.
