In his first season with the Dallas Cowboys, wide receiver George Pickens has blossomed into one of the top wide receivers in the entire NFL.

However, in a must-win game against the Detroit Lions on Thursday night, Pickens struggled mightily. He caught just five passes for 37 yards in the 44-30 loss, adding in a pair of extremely costly penalties and a drop that led to an interception.

After the game, for Amazon Prime analyst and for star cornerback Richard Sherman ripped into Pickens for his effort, or lack there of, throughout the game.

“George Pickens looked uninterested in playing football… disengaged… you can’t just disappear in these games… you can’t be the guy and half-a– it… that’s unacceptable,” Sherman said.

Well, Pickens, who isn’t exactly known as a meek character around the league, didn’t take well to the criticism.

George Pickens Posts Vulgar Rant Hitting Back At Richard Sherman

This is a team game lmao. I’m not the only one on the team. Stop becoming an analyst and talking about one player when he playin’ a team’s game,” Pickens wrote in a since-deleted post on his Instagram.  ” Lots of shh has to go right for explosive plays. And it’s funny cause I thought former players would know that such as p—y a– Richard Sherman, who btw ain’t shh without the Legion of Boom. We all remember San Francisco, brother. Much love.

“Don’t speak on me unless you know the game of football. As a former player, not a d—riding fan/analyst that act like double team is not a thing or certain bracket coverages don’t exist. Knowing you played ball, which show me you a leach, weirdo. Now Twitter eat this up. Clouted ah wrld.”

That is … quite the response.

Sherman, similarly, isn’t one to stay silent when he feels attacked. So it’ll be interesting to see if this feud continues beyond this week.
