The Detroit Lions fell to the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, 48-42. It was an entertaining contest that saw the two sides combine for over 1,000 yards of offense and 12 touchdowns.
After the game, though, an unexpected topic was being discussed online. Dan Campbell’s teeth went viral during the matchup.
More specifically, it was the head coach’s bottom row gnashers being talked about. I’d personally never noticed Campbell’s teeth. Now, the image is burned into my brain.
While roaming the sidelines, cameras zoomed in on the Lions’ leader as he spoke to officials. Screenshots of the coach immediately circulated social media.

Comments quickly followed. “Dan Campbell needs to leave that dip alone, his teeth are looking too crazy,” one person wrote.
“I will never unsee Dan Campbell’s teeth,” said another. It will be hard to look at him the same!
“Dan Campbell’s teeth look like they’ve been through a blitz,” replied this follower. “Maybe huddle up with a toothbrush and let minty freshness join the starting lineup.”
The discoloration could be from tobacco use, as one commentor suggested. Believe it or not, it’s not the first time his teeth have gone viral!

The quarterback shared a story earlier this year of his head coach’s tooth flying out during a heated speech. He kept moving as if nothing had happened. He never acknowledged the situation after the fact. Goff said the moment was both hilarious and head-scratching. He was in disbelief!
Unfortunately, Dan Campbell’s teeth were back in the news this Sunday for the wrong reasons. He’ll look to move past the negative press and get the Lions back into the win column next weekend.
