Is Dana White not longer promoting the upcoming Canelo Alvarez-Terence Crawford fight? After Canelo’s win earlier this month, Saudi backer Turki Alalshikh announced that Canelo would face off against Crawford on a September 12th fight promoted by White.

“We will deliver the fight of the century with @RiyadhSeason on Sept. 12 at Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium. The legend
@Canelo defends his @ringmagazing title vs. the great @terencecrawford TV platform will be announced soon with big surprise. My brother @danawhite will promote this first TKO boxing event with me. It will be something crazy.”

White even conducted a faceoff between Canelo and Crawford.

This week, Alalshikh raised eyebrows when he announced that Canelo-Crawford would take place on September 13th, on the same day as Noche UFC, and that the fight could be held somewhere outside of Vegas.

On Sunday, Alalshikh revealed that Sela would be the lead promoter of Canelo-Crawford and not White.

Fans immediately had questions about White’s involvement in the fight.
