Julian Rodriguez is $100k richer for his performance at Zuffa Boxing 1.
On Friday night, Zuffa Boxing, led by UFC CEO Dana White and WWE President Nick Khan, held its inaugural event at the Meta Apex and aired on Paramount+.
The best fight on the card was a war between Rodriguez and Cain Sandoval, which saw Rodriguez upset his slightly favored opponent.

After the fight, White revealed that Rodriguez would be awarded two $50k bonuses, one for performance of the night and the other for fight of the night.
“The fight of the night tonight, no shocker was Sandoval and Rodriguez, they wom $50k. Performance of the night, went to Rodriguez, who wins $100k.”

Zuffa Boxing is off to a quick start and will host another fight card next week on February 1st, featuring Jose “Rayo” Valenzuela and Diego Torres.
The new boxing promotion is also teasing a fight between Jai Opetaia and Noel Mikaelian.
