UFC CEO Dana White insists the upcoming White House event isn’t political.
Last year, Trump revealed that he planned to hold a UFC fight card on the WHite House lawn.
“We’re gonna have a UFC fight on the grounds of the White House. We have a lot of land there, we’re gonna build…Dana’s gonnna do it, he’s great, one of a kind…”
In the past few months, the UFC has been criticized for hosting an event at the White House during Trump’s administration.”
“The UFC’s right-wing turn did not just change optics. It reshaped the audience, pushed some fans out, pulled others in, and tied the sport directly to Trump’s comeback story,” argued Thomas in a video posted on X.
On Saturday night, the UFC held UFC 327 in Miami, with Trump in attendance.

While speaking to the media after the event, White responded to criticism of the White House card, saying he doesn’t feel like he’s putting on a political event.
“I don’t think like that…Even if you look at any of my speeches at the Republican convention, they’re never political. I’m never talking to one side or the other side, this guy (Trump) is a very good friend of mine. That’s it.
