Despite being illegally streamed by nearly 3 million people, it appears that Mayweather-McGregor fight will shatter the 4.4 million PPV buy record set by Floyd Mayweather and Manny Pacquiao back in 2015.

Last night, former UFC fighter Urijah Faber recorded Dana White claiming that the May-Mac PPV generated 6.5 million PPV buys.

It is worth noting that a large majority of PPV’s brought in by UFC.TV will likely be refunded after the stream crapped out on everyone but it’s hard to tell how that will effect the final PPV buy numbers.
