Zuffa Boxing
Zuffa Boxing is looking to make another big splash in the boxing world.
Last week, the new boxing organization, headed by UFC CEO Dana White and WWE President Khan, signed the top 10 pound-for-pound fighter, Jai Opetaia.
In a recent interview with TalkSport, Oleksandr Usyk’s team director, Sergey Lapin, revealed that they were in talks with White and Zuffa Boxing.
“There is contact, there is dialogue, and interest exists [from Dana White and Zuffa Boxing],” Lapin told talkSPORT Bet.
“Details aren’t for the public right now. Let’s say a few doors are open, and if format, numbers, and timing align, the market could see a move nobody expects.”
During Wednesday’s Zuffa Boxing 01 press conference, White confirmed they were in talks with Usyk, and are looking to sign the best boxers in the world.
