It appears that Conor McGregor’s return to the UFC has been pushed back once again.

Two months ago, McGregor was supposed to fight Michael Chandler at UFC 303 but pulled out due to a pinky toe injury.

McGregor vowed to return as soon as possible from the injury, but it’s highly unlikely that he will fight this year, according to UFC CEO Dana White.

During Tuesday’s DWCS postfight press conference, White revealed that McGregor will probably not fight this year.

“He wants to fight, we’ll figure it out. He won’t fight this year.”

McGregor saw White’s comment and is still pushing to fight this year in December.

“Ah Dana, December is the date! Bring the calendar year home with a winning event! Come on now, what’s this? I am off to altitude next month to prepare. DECEMBER! Tell Dana and UFC WE WANT DECEMBER! WE DESERVE DECEMBER!”

It’s unclear what’s going on with McGregor considering his fight with Chandler continued to get pushed back over and over again.
