Dana White Says Musk And Zuckerberg Are Serious About A UFC Fight

You know what the big problem is with boxing these days?

They’re all about putting together gimmick fights.

That’s not what the UFC does.

The UFC puts on fights between the world’s best fighters.

At least, that was the case if you had asked Dana White a few weeks ago when he was talking about Francis Ngannou trying to take a boxing match before he fights for PFL for the first time.

In the time since then, he has made it clear that it’s not what the UFC does unless a gimmick fight could be profitable.

First it was talk of a fight between Jon Jones and Tyson Fury that would prove very little.

Now he has seemingly turn his attention toward something even more gimmicky.

Over the past few days, the possibility of a fight between a couple of billionaires has somehow developed.

It started with Elon Musk responding to a comment by pitching the idea of a cage fight with Mark Zuckerberg.

The Facebook founder showed no concern about the matchup. He stole a famous phrase from Khabib Nurmagomedov and asked Musk to “send me location”.

The whole thing appeared to be a joke, but now it seems the billionaires have gotten Dana White involved.

During an appearance on “TMZ Live”, White claimed that both men are “dead serious” about the fight.

White also added that the pay-per-view would cost fans $100 and the money would go to charity.

As unlikely as the fight still seems, there are actually already betting lines out there somewhere that have Musk as a small favorite, although I’m not entirely sure why.

Mark Zuckerberg recently competed in a jiu-jitsu tournament and there has been a video released of him doing striking training.

The only fight experience for Elon Musk that has ever been discussed comes in the form of stories he’s told about himself.

It’s something that fans would surely be entertained by for as long as it lasts, but it is hard to believe that the UFC would actually get themselves involved in something so low level.
