UFC CEO Dana White wants to warn fighters to make sure they

For the past two weeks, the NBA, MLB, and UFC have found themselves in the midst of gambling scandals.

The UFC’s scandal stems from irregular betting patterns that were detected in the Isaac Dulgarian vs Yadier Del Valle fight.

During appearance on CNBC, White revealed that he called the FBI after the UFC’s third-party betting monitoring company flagged the fight.

“The reason that thing was flagged is because there’s more data, and they can see the movement in lines. And one of the big misconceptions about what happened with us a couple weeks ago—we called the FBI right after the fight.”

“We have the best bet monitoring service out there, monitoring, you know, the lines, the lines, and what’s happening. When there is any weird movement, they reach out to us. So they did on that fight, and we called the fighter, called his lawyer, said, “Are you hurt? Do you owe anybody money? Is anything going on with this fight?” His lawyer said, “Absolutely not.” Then the fight ended in the first round, got up from the side of the Octagon, went back, call the FBI. Now the FBI’s investigating it.”

White, who is close with FBI director Kash Patel, sent a serious warning to any fighter considering fixing a fight.

“Let me tell you what will happen if you do it in the UFC—I’m gonna be the first one to go after you and try to bury you.”

The FBI has not released any statements regarding the UFC’s betting scandal.
