UFC CEO Dana White is reacting to fans complaining about the amount of ads on the UFC’s Paramount+ stream.
Last year, White announced the UFC had signed a deal with Paramount that would eliminate PPVs and allow fans to watch fights with a Paramount+ streaming subscription.
“This historic deal with Paramount and CBS is incredible for UFC fans and our athletes,” said UFC CEO and President Dana White. “For the first time, fans in the US will have access to all UFC content without a Pay-Per-View model, making it more affordable and accessible to view the greatest fights on a massive platform. This deal puts UFC amongst the biggest sports in the world. The exposure provided by the Paramount and CBS networks under this new structure is a huge win for our athletes and anyone who watches and loves this sport.”
On Saturday, the Paramount era of UFC began, but apparently, fans weren’t happy with the number of ads shown during the broadcast.
UFC on Paramount + is kinda lame ngl. Just ads on ads. No in between round commentary. Idk bruh kinda not the vibe. 🤷

UFC being on paramount plus is great but what’s the point when there’s ads that miss walk outs and between round breaks

While speaking with the media after UFC 324, White was asked about the fans’ complaints.
“All of this is a work in progress. It’s $8.99. You’re not paying, however, much anymore. These guys have gotta make some money, too.
“These guys are incredible to work with already. We’ll work it out.”
