The Mexican Monster David Benavidez wants Canelo.
On Saturday night, Benavidez absolutely destroyed Demetrius “Boo Boo’ Andrade in what was supposed to be his toughest test yet.
While Andrade showed success early, Benavidez eventually began landing power punches and dropped him in the fourth round.

Eventually, Andrade’s corner stopped the fight in the sixth round.
During his postfight interview, Benavidez immediately called out Canelo Alvarez.
“I just think I just solidified myself as the dominant performer, I think it’s a reminder to let everyone who the real champion is at 168. They want to see me vs Canelo and this is what we want too.”
“Let’s give people want they want to see, they want to see Benavidez vs Canelo.”

A fight between Canelo and Benavidez would definitely be the biggest fight in boxing but it appears that Canelo is likely to fight Jaime Munguia next.
